Our canoeing and fishing trips offer some of the best small mouth fishing you will find any where in the world.  The section of the James River Hunters Outdoor Family Adventures guides, has been described as the second best small mouth destination in the United States.  Whether you want to fish for these fighting fish or just enjoy the outdoors we have a trip for you.  If the large James is too intimidating for your family the smaller Meherrin River offers winding, slow moving water that can make all your worries disappear.  Hunters Outdoor Family Adventures looks forward to planning your trip of a lifetime. 

All trips include life jackets, paddles, and canoes
(guest are responsible for their drinks, snacks, fishing licences, and etc.)

$10 per child 10 and under and rides as third person in canoe

FULL DAY TRIP (8-10 hours) 1 meal provided

OVERNIGHT CAMPING ON RIVER
$65 person (ONLY includes primitive camp site, camp fire, dinner, breakfast and a peaceful night under the stars. Tents, sleeping bags, toilet items and etc. are responsibility of guest)


Turkey Hunting

Turkey hunting the woods of Virginia has been a specialty of Hunters Outdoor Family Adventures for many years.  We offer filmed, semi-guided, and guided hunts in the woods of Virginia.  We consistantly harvest 20lb gobblers with 1inch plus spurs.  Whether, Hunters Outdoor Family Adventures does the calling or you do, a large Virginia gobbler will be heading your way.  Hunters Outdoor Family Adventures looks forward to planning your trip of a lifetime.

 Whitetail Hunting

Guide services struggle to offer qaulity hunts in Virginian but Hunters Outdoor Family Adventures harvest some of the largest bucks by any guide service. Visit our Trophy Room to witness for yourself the qaulity animals you could be hunting with Hunters Outdoor Family Adventures.

($300 trophy fee will be added for bucks killed that score 150+ inches)

 Bear Hunting

Bear and Predator hunting is sport that few guide services offer in Virginia.  Hunters Outdoor Family Adventures can assist you in harvesting the bear or coyote of a lifetime.  These hunts often last a week or more, but with the numbers of bear steadily increasing in Virginia your chances of a succesful hunt increase every year.  We routinely harvest several bear per year with hunters.  Contact Hunters Oudoor Family Adventures today to plan your hunt.

Lodging

We offer a 2 bedroom cabin with water and electric, as well as, recommend quality hotels if that is the route you choose.



We would love to guarantee every hunt but that is impossible.  We only hunt wild, free range game in the Commonwealth of Virginia.  Ours guides will do every thing in their power help you and your family catch or harvest the trophy of a lifetime.  Adventures are however guaranteed to be the trip of lifetime!!
